I am a local Southlander who believes in the importance of ensuring that dignity and respect are essential at the most difficult times in our lives. What is important for each of us is unique and I feel privileged to be part of the most personal days for people.
Rituals and symbolism are vital in life, especially for milestone events and during times of transition. A funeral service is a vitally important event, not just for family and loved ones, but also for friends and members of the wider community. And while a funeral service is a formal acknowledgement that someone has died, it is also a celebration of their life and who they have been.
I take a professional approach to every ceremony, which I personalise to suit the person and the family. I promise to always treat you with respect and sensitivity.

Renewal of Vows
The Renewal of your Marriage Vows is a beautiful way to solidify the journey of your marriage and recreate or renew amazing moments that have made it yours!
You can also include meaningful traditions and rituals personal to you and your partners journey. You may want to show your love and commitment to each other in front of family and friends on reaching a significant anniversary; or because you were married or eloped overseas.
Commitment Ceremonies
A commitment ceremony is a couples affirmation of joining their lives together as opposed to being a legally binding ceremony. It’s usually non-religious and informal.
Naming Day Ceremonies
A baby naming ceremony or a baby blessing celebrates the precious life, togetherness and love that a child brings into the family.
Naming ceremonies can involve all the important people in the child’s life, so parents can have the opportunity to ask other adults to play a supportive role in their childs’ life, including grandparents, Godparents or mentors.

Registered Nurse Services
I have been a New Zealand Registered Nurse for more than 35 years. For most of this time, I have been fortunate to work in the rapidly developing aged care sector in New Zealand. I value the work that is done in this complex and highly regulated sector.
I enjoy working to improve the sector and have been involved in developing and implementing a range of short and long term projects and supporting individuals. I have worked with developing facilities, managers requiring support in areas of quality, human resources, project support and management, RNs stepping into senior roles and requiring mentoring and support, education for all levels of staff, policy and procedure development, clinical governance, engaging with boards to understand the expectations of the aged care requirements.
I believe our work environments are places where everyone enjoys what they do and is learning new skills and information.
